Inspiration: Jocular Sounds, by Wassily Kandinsky

We originally went to the Bauhaus website looking for inspiration, and we found this quaint sketch to almost resemble a person in abstract form. I began to think about people in my life that could live in this abstract world, and my first thought, of course, was my family. We can see in the portrait my wife, my sons  (7, 2, and 3 months old), along with myself. I thought I'd add the sun as a symbol of brightness and light in my life, representing a happy family. The colors, as random as they are, come from the fact that Clemson won the Football national championship this year! The shapes were chosen to represent the idea of abstraction.

A technical difficulty that I overcame was with the placement of shapes on the canvas, and how to align them properly with where I wanted them to go. This was solved through discussion with classmates on the Discussion Board and through my own research. I also had trouble with some of the events and triggering them, and this was solved through reference to p5.js reference and also through experimentation.
