Inspiration: Untitled (Boy next to window with dog), Lucian and Mary Brown

My inspiration source awakened some of my memories from childhood. There were amazing frozen vapor ornaments on the glasses of our windows every morning in winter. I was enjoying playing with the ornaments by redrawing them with my hot thumb - for the areas I was touching were instantly melting.

With that experience in mind, I was trying to get the same effect for my current sketch. However, despite of spending quite a lot of time on it (speciallay, clear(), brightness,), I could not succeed. But along with these failed attempts, I have learned a lot about new functionalities. I think now I am more comfortable playing with X and Y coordinates, colors, alpha parameter, vertex, and so on. Even I have learned how to get a toggle effect with mousePressed.

I think my Assignment One sketch, can be improved a lot in future, by adding “frozen vapor” on window, then user interactivity to “melt” it with a thumb, open the right window and create “morning view of the garden” at the background, some bird noises… I will try to complete it when I will be fully equipped with P5 tools.
