As We Move Forward

|Why I chose This Image|
The image I chose was developed by László Moholy-Nagy, A 18, 1927 and I am fascinated with the different color schemes and simplicity used during the creation of this painting. There is a broad somberism but a beauty that draws you in and isn't just thrown together shapes or colors like some of the other designs. I tried to do this with my sketch but also add a little bit of fun into it.
Design Features Contributing To My Sketch
THe reason I chose this specific picture is because the art itself is abstract yet hopeful in the sense that in life we always deal with challenges that require us to look beyond the surface and see the jagged edges of challenge much like the different epxeriences come together to frame a realistic understanding of what our life is and where it's going. The ways that she shapes come together in this picture shows at the bottom of the photo darkness yet as you really look in-depth,you can see that there is a beauty and unity within the picture and the shapes themselves. The shapes and colors come together to form new understandings and new colors much like our lives do.
If you choose to look solely at the perspective of the broader challenges in life instead of just looking at the details you miss the details.; if, however, you look at both of the "shapes" or experiences in your life, you will begin to shape a mosaic that brings together a new understanding of your experiences of yourself and your life's meaning.
Design DifficultiesThe design difficulties that I faced included really getting a grasp of a flow of developing the program and how one function might influence the overall scope of the design and when one action might happen (such as the enlargement of the random colorized circle, it could really be hard to remember when the Loop occurs during the Draw() function and to know that some aspects need to be placed in the setup() function. I also had difficuly placing the sketch below this design. I tried to put the script outside of the area and at the bottom of the HTML and also in an iframe and the src of the iframe only showed me code instead of the actual design sketch.
